The UPTOOL project is based on three training courses produced specifically for the project.

Each module is offered with the following 3 educational methods: text, video or gamified.

Digital acculturation

This training will allow you to improve your current skills and acquire new ones to help you understand how the digital world works.

Educational objectives:

• Understand what digital literacy is and why it is an essential skill in today’s world< /li>
• Know how to use basic software
• Know how to use basic office programs
• Know the basic features of video chats and communication platforms
• Be able to create content
• Know the useful applications for entering the professional world

Duration: 1 hour

Media acculturation

This training will allow you to improve and develop the skills that will be useful to you to succeed in the digital world.

Educational objectives:

• Discover the different types of classic media as well as new media
• Be able to use different types of media
• Understand what social networks are and what they are for
• Understand what a web profile is, and what the exact information is online
• Know basic internet safety rules
• Understand the need to form an opinion and what your participation on the web entails

The basics of mathematics

This training will allow you to improve your current skills and acquire new ones to help you succeed in mathematics.

Educational objectives:

• Understand the usefulness of probability and statistics and know how to calculate them
• Understand what algebra is and what it is used for
• Understand what business analysis is and what it is used for
• Know financial calculations
• Discover the usefulness of geometry in everyday life
